FORMULATION THROUGH TO A SIGNED COMPLIANCE FILE
The catalogueMaterials, INCI ingredients, brands and manufacturers — searchable and editable. Manufacturer-scoped pools, so a supplier sees only their own. Full version history with a diff view.
The formula editorPhase, function and concentration across a material library. A live INCI list, aggregated and sorted by descending concentration. Maximum-concentration warnings against COSING and Annexes III–VI. Fill-to-100% sentinels that resolve themselves.
Projects and manufactureBoard, calendar, Gantt and dashboard for formulation projects. An approved formula promotes into an immutable Master Manufacturing Record. Batch records carry per-material actuals, lot numbers and in-process checks, behind a quality gate that demands a justification when one fails.

If rubedo is the outcome, Adeptus is the dyne.In alchemy the adeptus is the one who has completed the work and attained the mastery — not the apprentice still learning it. For a co-pilot that is exactly the right position: not an instrument you operate, but a practitioner who already knows the craft.Adeptus sits on the formula editor and proposes add, remove and update actions you accept with one click. Describe a product to it standalone and it drafts a whole formula. Ask it where something lives in the app and it answers with a link straight there.
Where the name comes from
Two morphemes, and the meaning sits between them. One names the end of a transformation; the other names what drives it there.

Two further layers
01 · THE COLOURRed is the colour of the seal.The red of the rubedo and the stamp on a certified document are the same sign: someone has put their name to it.
02 · THE HISTORYThe discipline made the same passage.Alchemy itself went through a rubedo: from a collection of secret, personal recipes it became a regulated, documented, accountable science. A cosmetic PIF is the endpoint of exactly that road — the formula is no longer a guarded recipe but a legally accountable object carrying a safety assessment.
